I started my career as a Commerical Painter. Later, I switched over to the traditional Mysore style painting. I have mastered the techniques of Mysore traditional painting and Tnajore traditional painting style perfectly.

Ater completing my Bachelor in Fine Arts and Diploma, I made up my mind to popularize traditional Mysore style painting and Tanjore style traditional painting. I dedicated myself on teaching painting for the past 16 years. My paintings have won seven Dasara Awards and several State Awards.

According to me Mysore Traditional paintings are created according to the rules and cusoms followed since decades and most of the artists don't take risk to give eye lashes to their paintings. But I stand one step forward by creating my own style by enhacning the beauty of the face with the eye lashes and giving smiling faces to all my paintings. I use 22 K Gold foil in my paintings.

I have a number of Foreign Studetns from England, USA, Yugoslavia, Scotland, Australia, Japan and Thailand learning the minature style of Mysore and Tanjore painting.

Most of my paintings are on Gods and Goddesses - Ganesha, Shiva, Radha, Krishna, Venketeswara ,Durga and Portraits of Mummadai Krishnaraja Wadiyar to mention a few. I Have painted approximately 1200 paintings, out of which most have been sold.

I also do painting by mixing both Mysore traditional painting and Tanjore painting, water painting oil painting, recreation of Ravi Varma Paintings and photography, I also do retouching of old or damaged paintings.

I created a large piece for the Bangalore International Airport that comprised of 600 sketches.

According to me, painting is not just a passion but a medium to reach perfection and I enjoy the Spiritual Realm it takes me to.
